Sarfraz Manzoor's inspiring thread

On Friday, 07th December 2007, Sarfraz Manzoor posted an article on the Guardian's Comment is Free website entitled 'Boris, Israel, 9/11 and me'. This thread turned out to be one of the most inspiring self-reflective threads to have been posted on CiF (Linda Grant simillarly wrote a great article on bloggers and cyberspace called 'Behind the user name' and followed it up with 'I should apologise'). 931 comments later the contributors (and perhaps also the readers) of the thread felt a strange feeling of togetherness, which was based on more than merely situational jokes and lightheartedness.
